FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: covering of road structures consists of interconnected rings, each provided with slots forming a shaped contour along ring edge. Rings are laid with a provision for engaging one another with the aid of slots in adjacent intersecting rings. The space inside and between the rings is packed with a filler. Length of longitudinal slots on ring edges is limited by shaped projections and the cross section of rings is rectangular or oval, or wedge-shaped or rhombus-shaped. Shaped projections have holes or additional hollows at their opposite sides for the passage of rods. Number of shaped projections may be divisible by four. The filler may be compacted and/or reinforced with binder. Individual sections may be made removable. Rings may be additionally secured by anchor shackles. EFFECT: higher carrying capacity and reliability of structure, elimination of shearing deformation failures of upper earth layer or covering. 13 cl, 5 dwg
