FIELD: solar power engineering. SUBSTANCE: reflector is made in form of channel surface which is described by the equation of family of generating spheres determining the reflector surface. Efficiency of collector is ensured through increased degree of concentration of sun rays due to form of reflector preset rectilinear receiver and selection of trajectory of motion of receiver corresponding to trajectory of motion of focal line during motion of the sun over sky. Trajectory of motion of focal line and receiver has the form of section of cylinder whose axis is located in the North - South direction and passes through the center of the middle sphere.
