SELF-DESTROYING STRUCTURE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: structure is comprised of artificial stone with embedded reinforcement bars. Before manufacture of stone the latter is filled with intercommunicating sealed rigid synthetic pipes arranged in a regular pattern while the reinforcing bars are placed inside the pipes, being anchored in plan at the ends only. Pipes communicate with the atmosphere through one upper and one lower pipe unions which can be filled with expanding liquid when the service life of the structure is completed. EFFECT: improved design.
