FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves injecting 5 ml of physiological solution directly into lungs, producing bronchial lavage, homogenizing it with extracting solution containing 0.2 g of Dowex resin ground with activated carbon (1:1), centrifuging it for 20 min at 3000 rpm, and adding 4 ml of cooled ethyl alcohol. Next steps include heating the mixture for 2 min at 100 C and adding 0.2 ml of trichloroacetic acid and 0.4 ml of 55% -chloric acid, centrifuging at 3000 rpm, drawing 1 ml of transparent centrifugate, titering 6 n.NaOH by phenolphthalein, increasing the volume to 2 ml and adding 2 ml of H2SO4 and 0.5 ml of 10%-paraaminobensoic acid in 96% -ethanol. The sample is heated for 80 s at 98-100 C, cooled to room temperature and its optical density is measured. The analysis takes 2-3 h which is 10-12 times faster than in the prototype method.
