FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: device to blow heated up air in pit furnace is formed of several tubular members equipped with firebrick lining. The members are connected to each other with spherical hinged joint and a compensator. The spherical hinged joint is generated by convex spherical pivot formed in a segment, and by concave base formed in the firebrick of adjacent segment. They have a safety housing of heat-resistant steel around convex part to the base of spherical pivot. Radius of curvature of each spherical member is about half a diameter of the tubular members.
