FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: device for mounting or dismantling tuyeres or tymps of shaft furnaces has hydraulic jack or hydraulic power cylinder installed on movable frame regulated in the direction of axis of tuyere or tymp, clamp containing two members installed for axial displacement relative to each other for gripping and holding tymp or tuyere, piston and hollow cylinder with rod rigidly connected with the first movable member of clamp and with movable piston installed for motion in outer body of jack or power cylinder so as to produce pulling action on the first movable member of clamp. Rod has depression on its outlet end to form hook for engaging inner edge of tuyere. Jack frame has means for varying jack inclination relative to horizontal line. Grip engaging tymp with clamp is fastened to clamp feed member and actuated by means of rod. Grip three hooks are extended by three convex flat springs provided on bushing attached to rod. Each hook is movable in axial direction on respective lugs. Device has pneumatic hammer acting on rod of tension member. Piston and cylinder are members of differential action.
