GAS LASER Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract RU 2025846 C1

FIELD: quantum electronics. SUBSTANCE: resonator is formed by flat reflecting mirror with main unidimensional grid. Additional unidimensional wire grid with device to turn it about resonator axis is installed between discharge tube and main wire grid. Distance between additional and main wire grids is not equal to n(λ/2), where n=1, 2, 3; λ is length of radiation wave. In this case angle a between directions of grid wires satisfies condition of 45< α < 90 deg. Apart from them laser includes device to tilt additional grid with respect to axis of resonator. Main grid is manufactured of wires having diameter amounting to quarter of period of grid. EFFECT: enhanced operational characteristics. 2 cl, 2 dwg
