FIELD: quantum electronics. SUBSTANCE: gas laser has excitation source, body fabricated in the form of rigid frame with two arms of active resonator arranged in parallel in it. Butt mirrors of optical resonator are manufactured in the form of wire grates. Diameter of wires is equal to quarter of period of grate. Wires of both mirrors are oriented in similar way. Solenoid is put on discharge tube coaxially to it. Period of gates meets definite proportion. EFFECT: generation of two-beam laser radiation with circular polarizations with opposite directions of rotation. 1 dwg
