FIELD: accelerating equipment. SUBSTANCE: in magnetized plasma of heavy electric fields there are created two magneto-acoustic shock waves which do not collide. In area of convergence of waves electric field emerges which summary vector of intensity is parallel to external magnetic field. Angle between fronts of chock waves is so chosen that area of convergence of waves moves in synchronism with accelerated particles during the entire course of acceleration cycle. EFFECT: improved acceleration efficiency.
