FIELD: garment industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves the steps of cutting out the double-sided cloth into the parts of back, strips and sleeves. The parts of strips are made with an allowance for width of coat breast. When individual parts are assembled into a garment, straps of left and right strips are fixed with stitches. The allowance is 3.5-3.6 R for the right strip and 3.1-3.2 R for the left one where R = distance from edge of coat breast to the carry-over line. When parts are assembled into a garment, the right strip is bent twice and the bend is stitched in place by additional loose strap on coat breast. Then strips and strap are bent along edge of coat breast and this bend is stitched down. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
