FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: aspiration-irrigation cannula includes irrigation tube housing aspiration tube having lateral opening at its working end. Working face of aspiration tube is made open and its lateral opening is shaped as slit perpendicular to longitudinal axis of tube. Depth of slit makes up 0.6 to 0.75 tube diameter. Ratio between width of slit and distance between end portion of aspiration tube and lower edge of slit is 1.42 : 3.25. There is opening on external side of cannula bent portion.
