FIELD: ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: irrigation-aspiration tubes are enclosed in cylindrical body with basic hole located on its side surface. Operating ends of tubes are bent. In addition, device is provided with tube for supply of fermentative solution. Auxiliary tube is positioned between aspiration and irrigation tubes and is parallel to them. Ends of aspiration and auxiliary tubes come out into basic hole of body, and end of irrigation tube is brought into hole located on side surface of body near basic hole. The device provides for complete removal of not only soft cortical layers but also dense nucleus of cataract. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
