FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: upper and lower rectus muscles are taken and split into two parts at 20 mm splitting length. Free ends of upper and lower cut fragments are put crosswise above and under paralyzed external muscle by placing it between upper and lower fragments for better contact from both sides. EFFECT: enhanced stimulation transfer onto paralyzed muscle making it to contract.
