FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making incision in conjunctiva and Tenon capsule. Sclera is accessed. External wall of Schlemm canal is excised with adjacent deep sclera layers zone. Three deep meridian incisions are made in sclera so that their beginning points belong to triangular flap excision zone and their ends come beyond the boundaries of the sclera flap by 1-2 mm. 12-14 thermocoagulation actions are applied between the incisions. Intraocular tension is additionally reduced by applying diathermal and ultrasonic applications to underlying ciliary body. EFFECT: enhanced hypotensive effectiveness of treatment; stimulated aqueous humor discharge. 5 cl, 1 dwg
