FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method for preparation of fine-fraction metal scrap for remelting consists in screen sizing to separate large pieces from fine-fraction metal scrap, mixing it with initial material in preset ratio to produce coke, charging mixture into coking plant, heating and treating the mixture to produce lumpy metal-coke. Amount of metal scrap may be equal to 6.1-90% of total mass. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
