SUBSTANCE: fish protective device is located in water intake bucket and includes bank abutments 1, waste retaining screen 2 located between abutments 1, vertical water-permeable screen 3 and vertical blind wall 7. Located at point of contact of water-permeable screen 3 and blind wall 7 is inlet cap of fish passage 4 behind which fish pump 5 and fish discharge 6 are arranged. Water-permeable screen 3 is provided with member 8 which is resistant to ice action; member 8 is located in zone of ice formation or below it, thus protecting screen 3 against action of ice and icing.
