FIELD: drying engineering. SUBSTANCE: solar drier comprises drying chamber 1 provided with electrical source 3 of heat power, fan 4, and air discharging passage 8. The solar heater of air is pivotally secured in zenith plane for permitting tracking the sun and consists of a housing with double bottom made up of air intake passage 7. One end of the passage is connected with an air intake branch pipe and the other end is coupled with fan 4 through an air duct. Air discharge passage 8 is mounted under the bottom which has a wall common with the passage. The outlet branch pipe is mounted under the air intake branch pipe. The solar dryer has a system for tracking the sun. The working surface of housing 6 of the solar heater is specular and has a coating with high reflecting capability in visible spectral region and high transmitting capability in infrared spectral region. The solar heater is set on a support for permitting tracking the sun in azimuth plane in focus of a parabolic cylinder. A transporting device for moving product to be dried can be included in the dryer. The device is mounted in so manner that the product can be illuminated through the parabolic cylinder. The dryer can be also provided with a source of ultraviolet radiation. The source is mounted for irradiation of the product. The air intake can be made of a pipe. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 cl, 1 dwg
