FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: solar dryer has drying chamber 1 provided with electrical source 3 of heat energy, air intake passage 5 whose one end is coupled with an air intake branch pipe and the other one is coupled with fan 4 through an air duct, and outlet branch pipe. The solar air heater is pivotally secured at the top part of chamber 1 for permitting changing angle of inclination. The solar dryer has a servo system for tracking the sun. The solar heater is made up of parabolic cylinder 7 having a covering of the working surface made of a material with high reflecting capability in infrared region of the sun spectrum and high transmitting capability in visible region of the spectrum. The heater is mounted for tracking the sun in azimuth plane and illuminating product with transmitted visible radiation. Passage 5 is conjugated with product optically. A transporting device for moving product to be dried from the charging device to the a discharging device can be included in the dryer. The device is mounted in so manner that the product can be illuminated through the parabolic cylinder. The dryer can be also provided with a source of ultraviolet radiation mounted for irradiation of the product. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 5 cl, 1 dwg
