SUBSTANCE: method involves sintering standardized burden under normal industrial conditions to obtain cakes; measuring cake distribution value from porosity; determining minimum and maximum porosity values of cake; sintering standardized burden and burden under test under laboratory conditions while heating to various temperatures and measuring porosity of cakes obtained; determining under laboratory conditions maximum and minimum sintering temperature for standardized burden corresponding to minimum and maximum porosity of industrial cake; calculating cake interval from difference between maximum and minimum sintering temperatures; conducting sintering of burden under test under laboratory conditions in the temperature range between maximum temperature corresponding to minimum porosity of cake and minimum temperature equal to maximum and cake interval temperature difference.
