FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: guiding device at a proper angle is installed at 0.15 to 0.25 B distant from foundation face to guide puncher. Well depth is 1/2 to 1/3 of that for puncher length. Then the puncher is withdrawn and the well is filled with inert material, then the puncher is advanced again the whole well depth. In so doing, inert material is rammed in well walls and forms densified inert material. Then the puncher is withdrawn, well is filled with inert material up to the top, and the puncher is inserted again, lower the bound of densified material. EFFECT: increased efficiency of densification for foundation base in the course of reconstruction or reinforcement of trouble buildings, as well as wider application at the expense of sand and wet clay soils. 4 dwg, 1 tbl
