FIELD: working of fragile materials. SUBSTANCE: device for working fragile materials has drive shaft, two metal disks, distance bushing and nut for pressing disks and bushing to supporting collar of drive shaft. Disks are mounted on drive shaft. Located on working periphery of each disk are abrasive cutting tools. Distance bushing is installed on drive shaft between disks. End surface of each disk facing distance bushing is located at angle to surface square to longitudinal axis of drive shaft. Line crossing the end faces of each disk are located on different sides of drive shaft longitudinal axis and parallel to each other. Cutting tool is made in form of coating from powders of hard alloys based on titanium carbide or tungsten carbide. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 4 dwg
