FIELD: metal machining by cutting; applicable in full-depth finish grinding of materials liable to defects with regulation of heat flux directed into work. SUBSTANCE: method us realized with use of combined abrasive wheel having fixed disk with coarse-grain periphery abrasive layer for rough grinding and cutting member with fine-grain periphery abrasive layer for finish grinding. Said layers are axially displaced, and cutting member is ring-shaped and spindly with ends overlapping each other and tightened by tension spring. Cutting member is movable in radial direction by means member is movable in radial direction by means of tore cylinder. Such design makes if possible to change rough grinding to finish one in process of machining that increases grinding productivity, and presence of oscillation in cutting zone reduces heat release rate of grinding and improves quality of process.
