FIELD: thermal decontamination of exhaust gases of soot production. SUBSTANCE: method consists in burning the axial flow of back-up fuel with part of air obtaining the flow of high-temperature gases, supply of tangential flow of mixture of exhaust gases with other part of air. Back-up fuel is burnt at coefficient of air consumption ranging from 1.0 to 1.2 and ratio ranging from 0.5 to 1.0. It is good practice to preheat air to a temperature of 100 to 500 C. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg, 4 tbl
