FIELD: reactor technology. SUBSTANCE: all excess reactivity enclosed in pulse rods of reactor, is introduced during several attempts. Moment of input of reactivity for generating any pulse is synchronized with termination of processes of reactivity self-quenching. As a result, sequent division pulses are achieved with controlled parameters and time interval between pulses is shorter than 1 s. EFFECT: improved precision; improved efficiency. 3 dwg
