FIELD: production of superconducting high-current wires. SUBSTANCE: superconducting wire has rectangular section current-carrier element made of superconducting conductors. The element is disposed inside longitudinal groove of channel-shaped stabilizing element and soldered to it by light-melting solder. External envelope is made of insulating material and applied in a spaced relation to the wire. Depth of groove of stabilizing element provides formation of space between current-carrier element and external winding. Current-carrier element is soldered by its surface part which is turned to wall of the channel. The rest surface of conductors of current-carrier element is modified by resistive convective heat covering. Tape-shaped gasket made of high-ohmic normally conducting metal or alloy may be soldered between current-carrier and stabilizing elements in longitudinal direction. Stabilizing element may be made with profiled base. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 3 cl, 1 tbl
