FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, to structures of superconducting power transformers intended for transmission and distribution of electrical energy at an alternating voltage of 0.1–200 kV and a power exceeding 500 kVA. And also to the high-current windings of energy storage devices, magnets, chokes, etc., operating in alternating magnetic fields. Superconducting winding is formed on forming element 1, for example on a cylinder, by winding on it high-temperature superconducting tapes 2 of a current-carrying element with interlayer gap 3 and using interturn isolation 4.
EFFECT: device for transmission and distribution of electric energy is proposed.
