FIELD: medicine, surgery, particularly, urogynecology. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes advancing two ligature on each side via abdomino-vaginal access both on left and right sides from urinary bladder neck towards aponeurosis, suturing latter, returning ligatures into vaginal wound by reversely moving device, making figure-of-eight suture to attach them at one end to paraurethral tissues and vesicovaginal fascia, and then tying them up in pairs. Device employed for advancing ligatures is hollow rod carrying cannula at its one end for connection to syringe and finger stop. Other end of device is bent at angle of 15 to 20 deg and sharpened. Hollow rod is 17 to 18 cm long. Plane of sharpening is parallel to axis of device. There is T opening inside bent portion. Its central end is open outwards to receive ligature. EFFECT: lower rate of traumatism and relapses. 3 cl, 1 dwg
