FIELD: fur working industry. SUBSTANCE: device has sharpening mechanism secured on frame and disk cutter formed as steel strip fixed in annular groove with conical surface by means of split spring ring. Annular groove is made in disk rim. Steel strip sharpening angle is formed as one-side wedge. Supporting jaw disposed at the side of cutting edge is mounted for movement towards this cutting edge. Annular cutting edge is disposed at an angle of 90 deg with respect to disk plane. Sharpening mechanism has removable body with spring-loaded casing mounted within body and rotating roller. Sharpening stone and friction roller are fixed on rotating roll ends. Drive pulley mounted on frame is engageable with friction roller. Supporting jaws are provided with flanges for protecting cutting edge of disk cutter outside working zone. EFFECT: high quality of scraping and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 cl, 2 dwg
