FIELD: coating applying on titanium and its alloys. SUBSTANCE: articles are placed in lithium carbonate, potassium carbonate, and sodium carbonate melt. The melt is heated up to 550 - 600 C and anode current of 0.5 - 10.0 mА/cm2 density is applied. Then cathode potential equal to one of carbon generation in carbonate melt is applied to the article for 1 - 3 min. EFFECT: corrosion-resistant coating applied on titanium and its alloys. 1 tbl
