FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: device has guides for ropes and driving transporting rollers mounted perpendicular to the front of a machine and shifted to each other. Device is provided with a feeding unit having a means for preliminary setting of the rope. Each feeding unit has a driving vertically movable traverse which carries feeding members constructed as a pair of rods positioned symmetrically with respect to vertical plane passing through the axis of the roller passed over by the rope. Each pair of the rods has a means for changing the distance between the rod axes and plane of symmetry of the rods. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 2 dwg
