FIELD: lines for production of chemical fibers. SUBSTANCE: unit has exit and entrance withdrawal mills mounted along frontal side of the machine; there is plasticization chute between the mills. Braid is fed by means of braid carrier 11 provided with gripping unit mounted onto manipulator which is mounted for movement along frontal part of the machine along the guides. Gripping unit of braid has case 22 and base 25 connected together; case 22 is provided with guide 23 and slider 24, base is provided with wedge-shaped protrusion 26. Rib of wedge-shaped protrusion is disposed at angle of 180 deg. 180°>α>0°. 0 deg. to the guide. Two-sided wedge 27 is placed onto wedge-shaped protrusion 26 for displacement by means of its connection with slider 24 which is connected with its movement control unit. Clamping plate 28 is mounted onto base 25 for rotation and contact with top surface of wedge 27 at the position of brain location. Locker 32 is attached to base 25 for force contact with free end of clamping plate 28. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 3 cl, 3 dwg
