FIELD: cellulose industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves addition of wood chips and bisulfite solution prepared on the mixed base into boiling apparatus following by wood chips boiling at increased temperature. Mixture of MgO and Na2O is used as a source of mixed base taken at the ratio (1:2)-(1: 3). Boiling is carried out at 152-160 C, pH 2.2-3.5 and at the content of total SO2 3.5-5.0%. EFFECT: improved method of bisulfite cellulose production. 1 tbl
