FIELD: internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: engine has housing with spherical working chamber and delivery chamber where rotor with tail-piece and bearing unit is mounted, divider, guide, power mechanism and mechanism for changing the inclination of tail-piece and its drive, intake and exhaust ports and bypass passage. Engine is additionally provided with spherical spool valve engageable with surface of housing and made for shutting off the intake and exhaust ports and shifting circumferentially together with rotor tail-piece. Delivery chamber and working chamber are made in form of single spherical chamber of housing. Divider is made in form of part of spherical band and rotor is made in form of spherical band which are articulated together. Bypass passage is provided in center portion of rotor hinge for regularly bringing the delivery chamber portion of rotor hinge for regularly bringing the delivery chamber in communication with working chamber. Tail- piece inclination change mechanism is made in form of rod kinematically linked with bearing unit and with drive and mounted coaxially in output shaft which is provided with circumferential guide engageable with circumferential guide of housing. Housing is made in form of two rigidly connected hemispheres one of which is provided with circumferential guide for divider, output shaft being mounted in other hemisphere.
