FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has working member of thermosensitive material in form of flexible band, either solid or consisting of separate threads. Working member is thermally prestressed. It is made of mechanical strong material possessing adequate linear expansion and adequate thermal conductivity. Use may made of steel. Working member may be also made of wire, wire rope and the like. Device has fixed coil 2 rigidly secured on fixed axle 8 and movable coil 3 rigidly connected with satellite 4. Device is also provided with rollers around which closed working member is wound, fixed axle 8 of internal gear wheel 5 mounted securely on the base, satellite 4 rigidly connected with coil 3 provided with axle 9 secured on carrier 10, heater 6 for heating the working medium, cooler 7 for cooling the working medium; both of them are mounted on lateral sides of carrier 10; besides that, additional coils whose axles are secured on carrier 10 of satellite 4 are provided. Additional coils are used to extend service life of working member reducing frequency of changing the heating and cooling cycles with frequency of rotation of satellite; besides that, they can simultaneously perform the function of heat exchange elements of heater and cooler.
