FIELD: ecology. SUBSTANCE: method relates to field of laser remote probing of atmosphere, in particular, when studying its gaseous and aerosol composition. Time and coordinates of potential sources of ejection are registered in advance on digital map. While probing stationary lidar is rotated around its vertical axis for time not exceeding time of life of ejection. When measuring intensity of scattered radiation intensity in series of sendings is measured in addition in each pulse sending and time of measurement is registered. Distribution of values of concentrations of impurity gas in range is conducted with allowance for aerosol scattering factor determined in advance. If distributed values of concentrations of gas and scattering factor exceed rated magnitude direction and velocity of movement, azimuth and elevation angle of polluted object are measured in addition. Additional probing of polluted object is performed with mobile lidar of multicomponent detail analysis. Location of source of ejection is determined by comparison of found parameters of polluted object with coefficients of digital map of potential sources of ejection.
