FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: product - bis-imides of endo-norbornen-2,3-dicarboxylic acid. Reagent 1: anhydride of endo-norbornen-2,3-dicarboxylic acid. Reagent 2: diamine. Reaction conditions: solvent is dimethylformamide, in the presence of isopropanol at the molar ratio anhydride: diamine:dimethylformamide:isopropanol = 0.2:0.1:(0.13-0.26):(1.3-2.0). Isolation of the end product is carried out by addition of H2O or isopropanol to the reaction mass at 80-100 C. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis. 1 tbl
