FIELD: welding. SUBSTANCE: offered electrode coating contains, mass %: fluorspar 3-5; rutile 6-10; feldspar 5-11; chromium 10-20; graphite 5.5-6.5; ferrovanadium 18-20; aluminium 1-2; titanium carbide 18-20; copper powder 1.0-2.0, and the rest - marble. Ratio of summary content of titanium carbide, ferrovanadium, chromium and copper powder to content of graphite should be 9.0-9.75. Combination of optimum ratio of (TiC + FeV + Cr + Cu): graphite = 9.0-9.75 with content of other components in offered range makes it possible to obtain surface layer featuring high resistance characteristics at perfect tightness, without pores and holes. EFFECT: enhanced quality of surfacing. 1 tbl
