FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for producing or reduction by overlaying of parts of metallurgical and machine-building techniques, operating under oxidation and cyclic thermo-mechanical loading, in particular for secondary cooling system of continuous steel casting plants. Ferromagnetic charge contains components in the following ratio, wt %: ferrochrome 29-32, nickel powder 8-9, ferromolybdenum 3-5, ferrotitanium 3-5, ferrovanadium 2-4, electrode marble 10-12, fluorspar 10-12, iron powder is the rest. Ferromagnetic charge powder pre-mixed at liquid glass for magnetic and non-magnetic components sticking. Surfacing is carried out by continuous electrode wire of "Св08А" grade of diameter of 1.6 mm, supplied with charge and attracted to it by the magnetic field of welding circuit, forming a coating similar to electrode.

EFFECT: surfacing material use in electric arc welding which produces defect-free products that meet necessary performance requirements without additional heat treatment.
