FIELD: welding. SUBSTANCE: objective of invention is to develop electrode coating with higher processing characteristics such as reduced welding current, higher surfacing and melting coefficients and to provide high mechanical characteristics of weld. Objective has been attained by introduction of fluorspar, ferrosilicon, ferromanganese and soluble glass and final slag of production of phosphor by electrothermal method at the following relationship of components, mass % : fluorspar 11.0-15.0; ferromanganese 8.0-13.0; ferrosilicon 7.0-9.0; soluble glass 12.0-15.0, phosphorus slag 54.0-56.0.
