FIELD: manufacture of welding electrodes of main type for manual electric arc welding of ship structures and construction of gas-oil complex of carbon and low alloy steels.
SUBSTANCE: coating contains marble, fluorspar, quartz sand, magnesite, ferrosilicon, rutile or titanium dioxide, ferromanganese of iron-manganese concretions containing rare earth metals and plasticizing agents. Coating contains in addition mineral alloy including at least 45% of alumina and iron-ore pellets including at least 90% of iron(III) oxide.
EFFECT: complete prevention of porosity, easy ignition of arc and good shaping of welded metal in all spatial positions including position on reverse side of welded joint at welding along gap.
