FIELD: flying vehicles. SUBSTANCE: airship has envelope filled with lift gas, ballonnet, fan, heater, mains chamber with port and damper. One main is shut off with throttle valve. When in vertical position, damper divides chamber into two volumes. Heat shield is mounted between ballonnet and envelope. The amount of clearance where shield is mounted is calculated by the formula given in the description. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of control of airship floating force. 3 cl, 1 dwg
