FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: unit has a gear mounted on a shaft and made up of a stack of disks. Each disk is defined by gear toothing and step part having opening for fitting the shaft. Tension member , which are screw on the tread of the shaft, are mounted from the side of the gear faces for tension the disk stack. The disks are mounted on the shaft by splined joint defined by projections provided on the shaft parallel to the shaft axis and answered grooves made in the fitting openings of the disks and arranged parallel to the pinion axis. The projections and grooves are interconnected through a flexible link which can be defined by flexible inserts arranged over the whole length between the spline projections and facing them by answered surfaces of the grooves. Each insert is positioned from one of the projection sides and oriented in the periphery direction. The flexible link can be defined by a monolithic flexible insert received in the slot grooves of the step parts of the disk stack. The insert encloses the slot projections of the shaft in radial and periphery directions. The shaft is provided with the axis passage and radial passages which is inserted in the zone of the step part of the gear. The disks can be made as plates and assembled in sections wherein the plate bases face each other. The stack can be assembled from metal disks and disks made of antifriction material mounted alternatively . EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 6 dwg
