FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: composite gear wheel comprises a stack of discs 1 made of sheet material. Each of the discs has toothed rim 2 and hub 3 with a shaped, in particular, splined hole for fitting on shaft 4. Toothed rim 2 and hub 3 of each disc are connected by spokes 5 cut in the disc. Between toothed disks 1 there are separating friction disks 6 having a shaped hole for interaction with the shaft, which, when side disks 7 are compressed, enter into friction interaction with toothed disks 1.
EFFECT: increased load capacity and reduced vibration activity of gear transmission.
