FIELD: THERMONUCLEAR technology. SUBSTANCE: when assembly of the toroidal magnetic field is performed, the units isolated of the winding are set at first at working position and are fixed one relatively another by means of removable lockers; interunit ranging washers may be used as lockers which have to be components of winding of toroidal magnetic field. To shape washers the surfaces matched of the two adjacent units are used in form of alternating protrusions and grooves. Initial thickness of the washer made of moulded material is chosen to be larger than size of space between units at working position for value of shrinkage of the blank of the washer at temperature and pressure of moulding preset. Inadmissible spaces between units of the winding are excluded at zones where they are brought into contact. There is no any complex equipment used during process - like hydraulic presses and special moulds for forming isolating interunit washers.
