FIELD: controlled nuclear fusion. SUBSTANCE: in the course of assembling electromagnetic system of tokamak with split coils of toroidal- field winding arc-shaped turns are arranged around central solenoid with rods passed through the latter to electrically interconnect arc-shaped turns. Central solenoid is mounted on supporting surfaces of arc-shaped turns. Flexible members are mounted on one side of horizontal axis of this structure between supporting surfaces of arc-shaped turns and butt-end surface of central solenoid. These members are compressed to utmost tightness and joined with butt-end surface of central solenoid and with supporting surface of arc-shaped turns. Then mating surfaces between flexible member and supporting surface are locked in position. Strain of flexible members in compression is chosen to be greater than longitudinal strain of central solenoid caused by electromagnetic forces. EFFECT: improved precision of assembly due to correction of manufacturer's defects; provision for in-service elimination of central solenoid displacement. 2 dwg
