FIELD: separation of grainy materials. SUBSTANCE: classifier has charging and discharging units and louvre-type grid mounted between charging branch pipe of auxiliary separating column and charging unit of classifier. Louvre-type grid is adapted for preliminary dedusting. Small fraction passed through grate and fallen into space under grid is subjected to additional cleaning in auxiliary separating column. Air-and-dust mixture is discharged through branch pipe disposed above auxiliary separating column. Large particles, which loose speed in auxiliary separating column, are discharged onto Z-shaped distributing grid through connecting channel in casing end wall. Material is mainly separated in casing composed of a set of separating columns with pouring units and on distributing grid. Distributing grid is divided into parts by delivery chambers with nozzles disposed in space above grid. EFFECT: increased efficiency in disintegration of material by high-intensity flows of gas and high opening of classification. 3 dwg
