FIELD: pneumatic classifiers for various powder-like materials; classification in multi-column classifiers: chemical and mining industries, concentration of minerals and other industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed pneumatic classifier includes hollow housing with bottom in form of inclined gas- distributing screen, vertical partitions located above screen and provided with overflow devices forming separating passages, fine products recleaning unit, dust-and-air mixture discharge branch pipe located in upper portion of housing, loading and unloading branch pipes, air supply branch pipe located in lower portion of housing; recleaning unit is made in form of vertical partitions with overflow device located in hollow duct adjoining upper portion of classifier on side of delivery of starting material; under partitions, recleaning unit is provided with gas-distributing screen which is located at distance from duct sufficient for forming the passage for flow of air-and- material mixture to recleaning unit on one side; on other side gas- distributing screen is connected with branch pipe for return of material from recleaning unit to air duct for mixing with starting material fed to classifier. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; extended range of fractionation of loose materials liable to sintering of particles. 3 cl, 1 dwg
