FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves reduction melting of sodium sulfate on the coke packing in air atmosphere which is blown into the shaft furnace tuyere under pressure 400-800 kgf/m2. Air is heated up to 300-450 C. Method involves uniform heating of charge column at the level of tuyere and melt bath in the hearth furnace. EFFECT: increased output of shaft furnace.
