FIELD: processing technology. SUBSTANCE: calcium fluoride is prepared by interaction of insoluble calcium salt and fluorine-containing compound at stirring in aqueous medium. As interacting components waste of wet-process phosphoric acid (phosphogypsum and fluorosilicate solutions) is used mixture of which taken at stoichiometric ratio (as for calcium sulfate and fluorosilicate ion) is treated with sodium hydroxide solution up to pH 9-10. Product yield is 98%. Product is technically pure. EFFECT: low cost, decreased energy consumption. 1 tbl
