FIELD: water flow rate monitoring system. SUBSTANCE: method lies in the fact that overall water flow rate through a reactor decreases below level of emergency limits, flowmeters not having generated warning signals are revealed, overall water flow rate through a reactor increases up to rated level at switched off pulse feed voltage, flowmeters not having picked warning signals are revealed, time of warning signals occurrence in each flowmeter is recorded in processes of flow rate increasing and decreasing, groups of flowmeters and process channels are formed on the basis of technological and structural attributes, simple statistical series of time of occurring and picking warning signals are composed for any such a group, the series are compared, flowmeters with ordinal numbers in the first series being larger than or equal to ones in the second series are eliminated, new series are composed, the new series are compared, flowmeters with ordinal numbers in the first series being smaller those in the second one are selected, their belonging to groups with additional attributes is checked, flowmeters not complying with additional attributes are notified as failed, serviceability of the flowmeters is checked by opening/closing leveling valves, failures are eliminated. EFFECT: increased reliability of reactor control system at the expense of more complete diagnostics of flowmeter serviceability.
